| So, As many of you know, things have been more than just a little hectic lately. .... Being sued out of the blue tends to do that to life. I want to thank all of you (you know who you are) for your support, dedication, and overall soothing words and prayers. I have to admit the continued stress of the current situation has taken its toll-as I'm sure it would on any mother concerned for her children. I have to say though, when times get tough you can very easily see the true colors of the people around you. And for the most part, the people who you thought you knew, are the people you know. What do I mean by that? The gossip whores eat up what they can, and the true saints you keep close to heart stand ready at the gaurd to protect you. Such is human nature I suppose. I've often heard "you get what you expect out of people"... but I've learned that no amount of hope, even for the best, changes the beast within another. That's their own battle-whether they choose to pick up the sword or not. I've spoken to many of my old friends recently and wow, it's been like a cool drink of water. So many good memories...welp, i've got other business now, so please do take care of yourselves and I'll talk to you soon! | | |

So...I'm on 70% bedrest as of late (due to some recent complications) and am already slowly losing my mind. My entire life currently revolves around sleeping and peeing...which in my college days was the pentacle of survival...I think it just doesn't count when you don't have a choice about it. My mom is driving up with my dad this wednesday...which means my beautiful Elijah will be departing for Louisiana, never to be seen from again...breaks my heart. Ya'll should come visit, I'll have a couch on the 26th of this month-which for those of you who know me is very exciting! This will bring my sit down furniture up from three folding chairs to three folding chairs and a couch! (Yippie) It's an incredible sectional though and if I should ever have a stain that won't come clean, I get to take it back and pick out a new one for free (as long as it's within the next three years) but I'll be surprised if it lasts that long without a stain, despite stain protection. So I watched Children of Dune and then Dune the other day...good stuff...I think the Golden Path is something that Paul and Leto just made up, I mean seriously, Congress gets things done faster! So yeah... that's about it...I ate some fishsticks...none of my neighbors speak english...and one of their five little boys enjoys bouncing his basketball against my wall...that won't last long. Overall the new place is great (keeping in mind I've only been here a week) it'll look even better when I unpack. And yes I've started, just takes time. So I passed my series 7 NASD test!! Which is huge. For those who don't remember it's the seven hr long test for options, bonds, ira's, cmo's, dpp's, etc, etc... oh yeah, i kick it's butt. The other day I got to ride the motorized buggy at walmart (my second time since the ankle incident) hehe, it's just as much fun sober, although I think Conrad was a lil embarrassed to be seen with me. oh here's a picture of my new car...I'm thinking of naming him Bob...what'dya think?

Ok, so there it is and ps: i'm not sure why people's comments are invisible

Hehe, I know how you've all missed my fabulous pictures!! How enrinching and mind provoking...here, the latest for your viewing pleasure... I hope all is going well with all of you, I miss you each so much, Nacogdoches has a far away echo of quiet peacefulness that Dallas just can't offer. I miss the summers swimming, the drunken nights, the lazy days and the political plotting... I suppose the old "college days" are much like the old saying "once you leave home you can never go back"...It's good to be focusing on the future but the past simply gets sweeter as time goes by. I've wondered how many crazy things some of you have done since I've been gone and how we would have made them even better together, and then I've thought about all the stupid things we already did do together and wonder how in the hell we didn't die or go to jail *for the record that one time technically wasn't jail, it was just being detained*...so anywho, you should call me, you know who are *in case ya don't, anyone I haven't talked to in quiet some time, get off your lazy ass and use those free night time minutes* All my love, be safe and have fun! | | |
